Rich in both classical and contemporary art, this tour will take you on a glorious and stimulating 10-day art adventure exploring the history, passion and romance of Venice and Rome.
Starting with five sensational days at the Venice Biennale, the world’s pre-eminent and most important contemporary art festival held in the beautifully restored Arsenale and the Central Pavilion of the Giardini. We will visit the Australian, New Zealand and International pavilions and enjoy personal guided tours of private galleries and museums including the Peggy Guggenheim; The Palazzo Fortuny Art Museum; The François Pinault Foundation and the Foundation Querini Stampalia plus many more unique experiences.

Then onto Rome for four days of art, food and wine … synonymous with history, we will look at Rome’s Classical, Renaissance and Baroque past. From the masterpieces of Michelangelo to the majesty of the Coliseum to an exploration of Rome’s rich historical heritage, you will be immersed in the sensual delights of the eternal city.
Here you will stay at the 5 star luxury hotel, Grand Hotel de la Minerve, housed in a magnificent mansion dating from the 1600’s and set in the historical city centre, the hotel overlooks the Pantheon and is just minutes from Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.
The tour will include wonderful lunches and dinners at superb local restaurants, enjoying the culinary delights of Venetian and Roman food traditions with regional wines.
