Jenny Bromberger is an integrative G.P. This means that in addition to her medical school training, at Monash University, she also attended the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), also in Melbourne, Australia.
Her double training allows her to integrate symptoms across body systems, understand cellular function more clearly and prescribe both natural and prescription remedies.
Jenny also has access to numerous tests, some of which her colleagues may have never heard of – such as accurate testing for adrenal function and heavy metal load in the body. She is therefore able to answer some questions that ordinary G.Ps may not be in a position to do.
Most of her patients have already seen a variety of doctors before seeing Jenny. She finds this is extremely rewarding. One recent patient had a rash which was caused by a gut parasite. None of her doctors (nor her dermatologist) had considered this possibility. They had simply not tested for it. When the parasite was eradicated, the patient’s rash disappeared and years of topical steroid application were no longer needed!
As Jenny says, “I am sure you will agree that I get a lot of job satisfaction!”
